Chichi was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan. As an accredited kimono dresser, she enjoys sharing the beauty of Japanese culture through kimono dressing, lessons, and demonstrations for both formal and casual occasions.
In 2008, Chichi moved to Calgary, Canada, with her family, where she continues to teach and share her love of kimono through dressing services and rentals.
Through her work, Chichi hopes to make the beauty of kimono accessible to everyone — regardless of nationality or gender — and to bring a touch of Japan to people’s everyday lives, wherever they are.
